Our walk on the bike trail

So we go on this bike trail here in Albert Lea all the time! and we went yesterday and saw all these animals! It was like we were on our own little nature walk and it kind of made me think of Kim and Jessica at the zoo!

See the deer? (Hint: It's smack-dab in the middle)

Look closely and you'll this beaver/muskrat type animal!

This huge snapping turtle we saw!! it was literally at least a foot in diameter!!

Jason was trying to get it to react! And it did!! It bit the end of the stick off!!

Jason's truck

Here's a little glimpse of the progress Jason has made on his truck. He's sanded down all the rust spots and has spray painted it with the primer. Next he'll fill in any dents and then paint it the final color.
It's been awesome how he's been able to do all of this for so cheap! Can you imagine how much that'd cost to get done at a professional place?

More of Sophie!

Taking pics around town!

Per request of Jason's mom, on Saturday we went around town and took some pics at our favorite places! For the first time in 5 months, it broke 60 degrees! Unfortunately today though it's cold and rainy.... It takes forever for spring to come in Minnesota!
It was windy!!!
Fishing season has officially begun!
Jason's favorite fishing spot. (We call it "the channel")

Where Jason's going to be working now! It's called Zumbro River Brand and they make dry foods like Cheerios and Cheetos. (at least its better than dealing with meats)

The mermaid on Fountain Lake.

Albert Lea's famous Katherine Island bridge. This makes all the postcards.

Downtown Albert Lea from across Fountain Lake.

Albert Lea City Beach. Hey it's not a real beach I know, but it's the closest thing to it for around here.

The Vikings at Trails Travel Center (one of our truckstops in town)

Jason and the elk at the Elks Lodge. Haha!
