So, the other day I was folding some laundry, and Sophie wanted to help. So I put her on the bed with me as I was folding the laundry when in rapid-fire motion she began taking out every article of clothing in the basket and throwing it behind her! It was so funny! I put the clothes back in the basket and she did it again! We played this game probably four times!

Tiger Trot 2009
Today, Jason and I and our friend Diane participated in the 2009 Tiger Trot 5K Run/Walk here in Albert Lea. It wasn't super competitive (it's actually a fundraiser for the middle school here), and we were able to take Sophie in the stroller. It was fun!
Here's Jason and Sophie at the end of the race!

Sophie's sick
Sophie's been sick today, so we weren't able to take any pictures of her in her Easter dress after we got out of church. Maybe we'll have to stage some later or tomorrow.
Easter mania
So on Saturday morning we ventured out to the mall to partake in this Easter egg hunt craziness that is put on by the Tribune and a few other entities (another night this week a group of us at the Tribune stuffed hundreds of plastic eggs full of candy). Luckily, they had a special section designated for the younger kids like Sophie so we didn't have to stand in this really long line for the kids that were a little bit older.
So we thought maybe Sophie wouldn't really know what to do, but here she is in her first step and she's got her eye on the prize. (Granted, each kid could only take five eggs)
First egg, a pink one.
She plopped it down in her pink Easter basket that Daddy held and then it was off to another one!
Here she is a few eggs later!
Sophie tried to make a new friend, but this little boy just stared at her!
We ran into Brie, and she and Sophie were giving each other high fives!
Overall, it was fun and not too drawn out, so we'll probably go back again next year!
Here she is with the Easter Bunny at the mall. I wonder what she was thinking sitting in the arms of that scary looking creature? She didn't cry, but she didn't really smile either...
