Our garden is 10-feet-by-10-feet a couple blocks away from our house in a community garden plot. We got everything planted on Saturday! We planted a row of marigolds, four tomato plants, four bell pepper plants, four jalapeno plants, two cucumber plants, some watermelon, a row of carrots, a row of lettuce and a row of greenbeans! It's not super huge, but it'll be enough for our little family!
Sophie looking on from the stroller!
Our garden plot is the one closet to the bottom. There are 45 plots in this garden!
Jason watering!
Sophie's going through this phase where she hates to sit in the grass! I know this is horrible to capture this, but we couldn't resist!

Flower gardens!
So we've been blessed to move into a home that had all sorts of annuals planted all the way around the backyard. I've always wanted pretty flower gardens and we finally got them!
These peonies, which are on the side of the house, look like they might be white!
I planted these little flowers around our rose bushes in the front of the house this week, so I'm excited to see them develop, too! We had to put sevin dust on the rose bushes because it looked like something was attacking them! hopefully that'll take care of that!
There's these all along the back end of our yard plus a little bit on the side, too. Not sure what they're called. :)
The peonies are getting ready to bloom!
One corner of our backyard with our shed.
The other corner of our backyard (with this lovely trailer visible from our neighbor's yard.)
These plants have also come up around certain sides of the house. I call them fancy weeds (I'm not a huge fan of them, but they don't look super horrible I guess.)

Dilly-dallying around
As you can see, Sophie is into everything! She got up early yesterday (Memorial Day), so I got up with her and played a little bit while we let daddy sleep in!
I just love putting her hair in pigtales!
Reading a book!
She loves playing with this bottle of baby powder!
And this milk jug! And pretty much anything besides her real toys! Ha!
This is from a different day, but I thought it was cute, so I put it up!
Some tulips from outside :)
Now that it's getting nice, we have to try to get more pictures outside!
